    Job Description

    Professional Search Group OC is looking for a Buyer to join their clients' team. The Buyer will be responsible for supporting the company in purchasing and proposing necessary inventory items. Partnered with a leader in radar defense for the Department of Defense, this is a fantastic chance to venture into the government sector.     Buyer Responsibilities:

    • Decipher technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications to aid in procurement.
    • Negotiate with vendors for favorable terms on price, availability, delivery, and quality.
    • Create Purchase Orders and Request for Quotes as needed.
    • Supervise purchase orders to ensure alignment with manufacturing schedules.
    • Work closely with internal teams to guarantee outsourced items meet customer requirements.

    Buyer Requirements:

    • 3+ years of experience in fabrication procurement, preferably in aerospace or military sectors in new product development or R&D.
    • Establish and nurture strategic supplier relationships.
    • Coordinate with external service providers for design, calibration, and rental of testing equipment.
    • Familiarity with ISO certification standards and adherence to operating procedures.
