    Job Description

    Essential Duties
    and Accountabilities

    1. Assist in coordinating,
      managing, and implementing the production schedule.
    2. Assist in planning and
      establishing work schedules, assignments, and production sequences to meet
      the production schedule.
    3. Assist in calculating labor
      requirements.
    4. Supervise, coach, and motivate
      department employees.
    5. Conduct employee training in
      operations and work procedures.
    6. Review the performance and
      evaluation of department employees.
    7. Manage standard operating
      procedures for production assembly operations.
    8. Guarantee adherence to
      standard operating procedures.
    9. Recommend or implement
      measures to improve production methods, product quality, and/or
      efficiency.
    10. Assist in monitoring and
      enforcing quality control and tracking programs to meet quality
      objectives.
    11. Analyze production and quality
      control to detect and correct problems.
    12. Confer with other supervisors
      to coordinate operations and activities within or between departments.
    13. Ensure implementation and
      adherence to health and safety procedures.
    14. Recommend or execute personnel
      actions, such as hiring, evaluations, and promotions.
    15. Confer
      with management or subordinates to resolve worker problems, complaints, or
      grievances.

    Requirements:

    1. Supervision, Coaching,
      Training, Managing Processes, & Process Improvement skills
    2. Experienced in the use of
      Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
    3. Work in a team environment.
    4. Ability to multi-task
    5. Dealing with Complexity
    6. Demonstrate excellent
      communication skills.
    7. Must have full oral and verbal
      fluency in Spanish and English

    Desired Experience
    and/or Training:

    • 3 to 5 years of experience
      working in the soft/hard armor industry.
    • Experience in a manufacturing
      setting with understanding of manufacturing principles and processes.
    • The knowledge of lean
      manufacturing principles and other methodologies is advantageous.

    Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or its
      equivalent.
    • Regular and predictable attendance is an essential
      function for this position.
    • Able to
      understand basic work and safety instructions in English.
    • Must be
      authorized to work in the USA.
