    We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic candidate to join our team in

    Vandalia, Ohio , as a

    Supply Chain Manager . In this role, you will be responsible for managing material planning, procurement, production scheduling, capacity planning and inventory control. Reporting to this position are the teams of Procurement (exclusive of sourcing), Production Planning, Scheduling, and Material Control. There is potential for promotion to the Regional Director level of North America region within a year or two.


    DUTIES:
    Develop and execute comprehensive supply chain strategies spanning production, procurement, and inventory management to support business goals.
    Collaborate with executive leadership to define performance metrics and strategic KPIs.
    Lead optimization of production scheduling processes, capacity planning, and resource allocation.
    Drive material cost down initiatives.
    Implement lean manufacturing material flow initiatives for operational excellence.
    Foster strong supplier relationships, manage, and track performance.
    Create inventory strategies for balanced product availability and cost-effective levels.
    Implement inventory tracking systems to minimize stockouts and excess inventory.
    Use data analytics and technology for streamlined operations and informed decisions.
    Develop risk mitigation strategies & contingency plans for supply chain and logistics disruptions.
    Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing supply chain and operations teams.
    Regularly report key metrics to leadership, offering insights for improvements.
    Responsible for the training, work performance and development of direct reports.
    Perform other related duties as required or assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS


    Must possess an analytical mindset with the ability to think strategically, translating data into actionable insights, and a willingness to drive continuous improvement throughout the supply chain.

    Must be able to prioritize workload in a multitasking environment, short-term tactical along with longer term strategic activities.

    Demonstrated history of successful change management and implementation of operational excellence improvements such as lean manufacturing, demand flow, and six sigma.

    Strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization from the production floor to the executive office; strong interpersonal, leadership, & organizational skills.

    Exceptional communication skills; promoting teamwork and a positive work environment.
    Experience with MRP/ERP systems.
    Proficient in Microsoft Office programs including Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE


    Bachelors degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or related field and 10+ years of industry-related experience, including 5+ years in management.

    Supply chain / Operations certifications (i.e. CPIM, CSCP, Lean Six Sigma, etc.) preferred.


    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
    Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
    Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organizations facilities.
