    Description

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct valuations of structured products, including collateralized loan obligations (CLOs), asset-backed securities (ABS), significant risk transfers (SFTs), and other complex financial instruments.
    • Perform detailed analysis of underlying collateral pools, assessing credit quality, prepayment risk, and other relevant factors.
    • Utilize advanced financial models and valuation techniques to estimate fair values and pricing for structured product securities and tranches.
    • Stay informed about market trends, regulatory developments, and industry best practices impacting structured product valuation methodologies.
    • Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and risk management teams to provide valuation insights and support investment decision-making processes.
    • Validate pricing inputs and assumptions, ensuring accuracy and consistency in valuation methodologies.
    • Prepare comprehensive valuation reports and presentations for internal stakeholders and external clients.
    • Assist in responding to valuation inquiries from auditors, regulators, and investors, providing thorough explanations and documentation as needed.
    • Monitor market liquidity and pricing dynamics for structured products, identifying opportunities and risks.
    • Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to enhance valuation processes, controls, and infrastructure.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
    • 5-10 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on structured product valuation, securitization, or fixed income securities.
    • Strong understanding of structured product characteristics, including cash flow modeling, tranche structures, and risk factors.
    • Proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques, including Monte Carlo simulation, option pricing models, and sensitivity analysis.
