    Position Overview

    :

    Ashton Woods is seeking a Manager of Financial Reporting Systems. This position will report directly to the Vice President & Corporate Controller. This new role offers an opportunity to support and grow the financial reporting systems needs of the business.

    The Manager of Financial Reporting Systems will assist with the development, maintenance, and rollout of the current VENA reporting system and any future enhancements to better streamline our transactional reporting and the integration of the same with other ERP/cloud-based solutions such as Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 and Dynamic Builder.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    :

    (Including, but not limited to the following)
    Develop and maintain an efficient ETL to support the VENA reporting needs of the department
    Create and maintain various VENA reports using SQL Reporting language for use in forecasting and actuals reporting
    Work closely with our parent company, Great Gulf, to manage and maintain interoperability of VENA with other financial and operational, cloud-based solutions such as Dynamic Builder, Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017, SalesForce, etc
    Troubleshoot and respond to technical issues regarding the functionality of VENA and its integration with our other solutions
    Assist with the conversion of Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017 to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
    Desired Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in accounting, IT, or business-related field
    Experience with Vena Solutions and Web Services required
    Experience working with database management systems, including MS SQL Server
    Strong knowledge of SQL language and ability to write and troubleshoot complex queries
    Data integration and ETL experience (preferably SSIS)
    Solid understanding of the OLAP concept
    Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
    Strong attention to detail
    Highly Desired Skills:

    Master's degree in IT or other related area
    Experience working with multidimensional model / cube technologies and FP&A systems (IBM Planning Analytics / Cognos TM1, Cognos EP, Oracle Hyperion Planning, Anaplan etc.)
    Experience with Microsoft Dynamics NAV preferable
