    The Solar Savings Initiative (SSI) is a Solar Company providing residential clients with a new way to save on energy cost in New York City. SSI is a strategic partner of Centurion Solar Energy and UniSolar Solutions, top NYC solar design and solar install entities. We are committed to promoting clean sources of solar energy to customers to best serve them now and into the future, making solar energy accessible and affordable for everyone. Our experienced team of professionals is enthusiastic about clean energy and sustainability.

    As our Sales Manager you will play a crucial role in promoting and selling our solar energy systems to residential customers.

    Your primary responsibilities will be:


    • Build a strong sales pipeline by lead generation through door-to-door canvassing, generating referrals, cold calling, participating in community events, and more.


    • Develop and implement strategic sales plan to achieve company sales goals and objectives.


    • Lead and manage a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and on-going support.


    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to capitalize on them.


    • Document new leads, calls, meetings with prospects in HubSpot.


    • Manage and expand Sales Team from lead generation, appointment setters to deal closers.


    • Educate potential customers about the benefits of transitioning to solar energy and guide them through the sales process.


    • Work closely with other departments to ensure customer satisfaction and project success.

    What We offer:


    • Base Salary $40,000 plus Uncapped Sales Commissions. Commissions and overrides can add up to over 250K plus a year on top of your base salary.


    • Hybrid with 2 days in our Midtown Manhattan office. This position requires to work evenings and Saturdays.


    • Full company support to exponentially grow company monthly and yearly sales.

    Qualifications we need from you:


    • BA ́s High School Diploma or equivalent.


    • A minimum of 4+ years of successful Solar Sales experience, preferable in New York City.


    • Must live in any of the NYC boroughs


    • Extensive solar lead generation canvassing experience a must.


    • Successful and solid experience on closing residential solar deals a must.


    • Self-driven and motivated work ethic.


    • Go getter aptitude and a mindset of exceeding sales targets.


    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.


    • Willing to provide at least three references.
