    Description

    Job Title Performance Engineer

    Duration Contract

    Location: Boston, MA (Onsite)

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct performance testing using JMETER to simulate real-world scenarios and identify system limitations.
    • Analyze performance test results to pinpoint areas for improvement and optimization.
    • Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement performance enhancements and resolve issues.
    • Utilize SPLUNK for log analysis and monitoring to proactively identify performance anomalies and troubleshoot issues.
    • Configure and utilize DYNATRACE for end-to-end performance monitoring and analysis.
    • Develop performance benchmarks and metrics to track system performance over time.
    • Participate in capacity planning exercises to ensure systems can handle expected loads and scale effectively.
    • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in performance engineering and testing.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a Performance Engineer.
    • Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMETER.
    • Experience with log analysis and monitoring tools like SPLUNK.
    • Familiarity with application performance monitoring (APM) tools like DYNATRACE.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
