    MedCare Staffing is seeking an experienced and exceptional nurse to be The Director of Nursing of a Hospice venture in Dallas TX.

    This is a stealth venture in the senior care space, with the mission of building a tech-forward platform that leverages automation, telehealth, and predictive analytics to improve the care we provide to our patients.

    The Director of Nursing will be responsible for leading and developing people and processes to provide the highest quality care to senior patients.

    With responsibility for overall organization and financial management of clinical operations, you will ensure the delivery of quality care to patients, enhancement of business development, and continuous improvement of efficiency and fiscal success.

    You will report to corporate executives who oversee and ensure outstanding service delivery to patients. Details Responsible for oversight over all clinical operations Analyze and organize clinical operations; responsible for the delivery of care to all patients, overseeing patient intake and inquiries and assess patient needs Participate with the physician, referral sources, and professional staff in decisions regarding patient eligibility and suitability for the program Monitor cases to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies and requirements of third party payers Participant in QAPI activities; work with Quality Improvement staff relative to data tracking for performance review and outcomes of care analysis to determine efficiency and efficacy of case management Ensure implementation of performance improvement program to drive quality care, positive patient outcomes, and address negative trends Develop and implement appropriate support plan to meet specific, identified objectives for support activities and respond to negative trends in performance metrics (clinical outcomes, field audit results, etc.) by assisting managers in the development of action plans to resolve local issues Responsible for compliance with all regulations, laws, policies and procedures applicable to senior care and reimbursement issues Develop annual budget and monitor expenditures and analyze gross profit factors, market conditions, business volume/mix, competition and operational costs Collaborate with Operations Management to assist in meeting their business and clinical objectives - supporting/maximizing current business activities, future growth and provision of quality patient care Qualifications 8+ years of experience in a senior care setting 5+ years of experience managing clinical operations in a senior care setting BSN/MSN is strongly preferred High degree of flexibility and adaptability and sense of urgency, as well as the ability to deliver within a fast paced, continuously evolving environment Track record of strategic and cross-functional management and successful oversight of complex operations models Experience mentoring, coaching and developing direct reports, as well as experience managing a variety of backgrounds Comfort working in an ever changing, fast paced, and ambiguous startup environment Strong sense of compassion and strong desire to be a catalyst for our clients If interested and qualified please contact Erica at
