    Bradley University is seeking a proactive and detail oriented professional to serve as the Advancement division's Assistant Director, Advancement Services with a focus on matching gifts and alumni/donor records.

    In this role, you will serve as a member of the university's Advancement Division and report directly to the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement.

    In this role, you will work closely with advancement services, development, and alumni relations colleagues.

    The primary responsibilities of this position involve maintenance of accurate alumni/donor records, hands-on involvement with timely and accurate charitable gift processing/documentation, and strategic development and growth of the university's matching gifts program.

    Primary Responsibilities


    • Serve as the division's expert alumni/donor record integrity. This includes creation of new records, updates to existing records, merging duplicate records, researching new contact information, leading special database clean-up projects, developing/updating data entry policies/processes, and holding teammates accountable to data integrity standards.
    • Manage the process by which scholarship and fund agreements are stored in the alumni/donor database and in physical files, and partner with Financial Services and Financial Assistance staff to ensure proper documentation in their respective systems.
    • Partner with the Associate Director, Gift Administration to process and document matching gifts and other charitable gifts to the university in a timely and accurate manner. This includes serving as the primary back-up to the Associate Director, Gift Administration.
    • In the longer term, develop and implement a plan to grow and sustain the university's matching gift program. This includes establishing goals, developing communication strategies to educate alumni/donors about matching gift opportunities, and identifying opportunities for process improvements.
    • Create and update standardized and customized constituent reports as needed.
    Additional Responsibilities


    • Actively assist with other Advancement Division events/activities as needed.
    • Participate in professional development as needed and/or assigned by the Senior Associate Vice President for Advancement.
    • Other duties as assigned.
    Required Qualifications


    • You have a bachelor degree and 1-3 years of experience in an office environment.

    Preferred Qualifications


    • You have experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT.
    • You have knowledge of a working environment within higher education.
