Job DescriptionAirline Maintenance Service, Inc. (AMS) is looking for Inventory Control Clerks to become part of our growing team in Columbia, MO. If you have a great "can do" attitude and are interested in airline work then we want to hear from you. We offer many opportunities for career advancement.About the role:As an Inventory Control Clerk, you will work with aircraft maintenance staff to fulfil their parts requests and needs. You will compile records concerned with ordering, receiving, storing, issuing, and shipping materials, supplies, and equipment. In supporting the maintenance department, you will ensure quality service.
Responsibilities:Proper recording, issuing and receiving of parts coming in or going outPerform stock transfers of parts and physically move stock from one location to another.
Examine items visually and manually for defects or wearLift, carry, and pull items from stock; load/unload, pack/unpack items, and related physical workStore items according to company, fire, safety, and good housekeeping regulations and practices
Requirements:Minimum age 18High school diploma or GED equivalentValid state driver's licenseAbility to lift items up to 50 lbsPossess the legal right to work in the United StatesMust be able to read, write, fluently speak, and understand the English language.
Experience in general warehouse or similar type supply function involving receiving, shipping, and storing material by parts number preferredMost importantly, you must have a great "can do" attitude
Compensation & Benefits:We provide a full-time schedule, hourly base pay. Full-time employees are eligible for comprehensive benefits that include Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance; AFLAC Supplemental Insurance, Long Term Disability, Basic and Voluntary Life and AD&D, PTO (paid time off), and matching 401K Savings Plan.
