World Distribution Services (WDS), a World Group company, is hiring a motivated 2nd Shift Forklift/Reach Truck Operator to join our team and work in our brand-new warehouse and distribution center in Linden, NJ This position will be Monday through Friday 4:15pm to 1:00am.
The Forklift/Reach Truck Operator safely and efficiently operates all forms of operations machinery including but not limited to: forklifts, reach-lifts and electric pallet jacks.
Candidates MUST have reliable transportation to and from work daily.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced, physical position that will keep you moving all day long as you ready freight for customers. **Responsibilities:**
Operates equipment in a safe and efficient manner
Unloads, palletizes, picks, and loads loose cartons
Provides daily preventative maintenance checks on equipment as required
Escalates equipment mechanical issues to Lead Equipment Operator
Unloads/Loads freight in a safe and effective manner
Accurately verifies freight for quality and quantity
Performs cycle counting as required
Communicates with others appropriately
Other duties as assigned
**Qualifications:**
Previous recent experience operating sit-down forklifts and stand-up reach-lifts is required
Warehouse experience
Experience with warehouse management systems preferred
Experience with warehouse RF equipment preferred
Knowledge of safety regulations
High School Diploma or GED required
