    Short Description for Internal Candidates

    The Shipper Loader is responsible for loading bread into the trucks and unloading empty trays with a hand dolly. Bread stacks weigh from 300 to 375 pounds with a hand dolly.

    Position Summary Details

    The Shipper Loader is responsible for loading bread into the trucks and unloading empty trays with a dolly. Bread stacks weigh from 300 to 375 pounds

    Essential Functions
    • Use proper lifting techniques.
    • Make sure the baskets are properly stacked before moving.
    • Move stacks into the truck trailers not stacked higher than 19
    • Check to insure dock plate is secured properly before loading and unloading
    Responsibilities
    • Load and unload materials to and from designated storage areas
    • Verify computations against physical counts of stock
    • Place dock plate on trailer
    • Stack trays to height for loading
    • Take trays to wrap area and remove full stacks of product out of wrap area to truck trailer
    • Pickup and delivery of customer equipment, shop supplies, parts, etc.
    • Load baskets of bread onto trailer
    • Remove dock plate from trailer and close overhead door
    Qualifications
    • One year of similar experience preferred.
    • Must be 18 years of age or older
