- Degree in accounting, business or a related field
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Public Accounting Auditing environment
- CPA license preferred
- Strong time management skills for managing workload priorities
- Strong attention to detail
- Competent with audit/accounting software
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word and Adobe Acrobat
- Runs audit, review, examination, agreed-upon procedures and/or compilation engagements from start to finish
- Supervises, trains and mentors staff on all aspects of engagements to help grow the firm's capabilities and expertise
- Effectively communicates with clients in a manner that creates positive relationships
- Provides recommendations to clients for business and process improvements
- Possesses or is able to gain subject matter expertise in a variety of industries such as benefit plans/EBPs, governments, non-profits, construction, low-income housing and agriculture
- Understands and follows required accounting and audit standards ensuring all firm engagements are conforming
- Able to interpret and implement new pronouncements with supportable conclusions
- Ensures efficient and profitable management of engagements
