Job summary
Support the monthly and quarterly financial close process for the TV Networks organization ensuring accurate and timely recording of transactions in accordance with U.S GAAP and company policies Prepare and review journal entries and balance sheet account reconciliations with a focus on linear distribution advertising and other revenue streams Assist in the preparation and analysis of internal financial statements Income Statement Balance Sheet Cash Flow reporting packages for senior leadership Partner with Finance Technical Accounting teams to assess accounting impacts of new or complex business transactions Ensure SOX compliance through maintenance documentation of internal controls support audit processes by preparing audit schedules responding to auditor inquiries Coordinate with Senior Director to identify opportunities for process improvements control enhancements across accounting operations Contribute to implementation ongoing enhancement reporting systems tools used controllership function Supervise mentor junior staff fostering collaborative high-performance environment Collaborate Controllership team IT on reporting system enhancements amortization systems Coordinate communicate various business units Financial Planning Controllership Legal
