In this role, you will be responsible for handling complex tax matters and providing tax planning and compliance services. You will work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and assist them in minimizing their tax liabilities. The ideal candidate will possess excellent technical knowledge of tax regulations and a strong attention to detail.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trustsProvide tax planning and advisory services to clientsResearch and interpret tax laws and regulationsAssist with tax audits and communicate with tax authorities on behalf of clientsReview and analyze financial statementsMentor and train junior staff membersStay up-to-date with changes in tax laws and regulationsRequirementsCPA certification is requiredBachelor's degree in Accounting or related fieldMinimum of 5 years of experience in tax accounting at a CPA firmThorough knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulationsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsProficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to prioritize work and meet deadlinesAttention to detail and high level of accuracyBenefits
