Are you a CPA with at least five years of accounting and tax experience who can supervise a team of professionals, review complex tax returns, review accounting working papers, has a strong tax background, and can develop/mentor staff, working hand-in-hand with entrepreneurial clients? We are a full-service CPA firm keenly focused on serial entrepreneurs and looking for an experienced CPA with strong tax skills interested in a permanent, full-time position involving tax return review, complex tax return preparation, state and international tax experience, and tax research experience, and a strong understanding of accounting working papers and how they integrate with tax.

The hours and schedule are very flexible, salary and benefits are extremely competitive, and we offer intangible benefits as well.

You will NOT experience the typical "tax" season.

Due to our client-mix , you will have a steady level of challenging work throughout the year; you will NOT be overworked because our client work is spread out evenly throughout the year.

You will focus mainly on tax matters, supervising a wide variety of tax projects and tax-oriented engagements, and you will also be involved with accounting and entrepreneurial services, Quickbooks engagements, and training/mentoring younger staff.

This position will encompass the following (and more):
Applicant MUST have prior CPA firm experience with an emphasis on accounting and tax engagements.

You will be:

• Working with a wide variety of clients on accounting, tax, and traditional client engagements.
• Working with CaseWare, our paperless electronic work paper solution
• Working with our tax preparation, tax planning, and tax research fully integrated software
• Working with our time management, staff management, job management and billing software in order to improve work-flow, project management, and operational efficiency

Your responsibilities will include:
A. Reviewing accounting working papers and tax returns
B. Supervising accounting and tax staff including scheduling, workflow, and similar firm logistics
C. Tax planning, tax research, IRS representation and correspondence, and similar tax related projects
D. Federal, Florida, multi-state, consolidated, affiliated, and international tax projects and clients
D. Reporting directly to and working with firm leadership
E. Preparing complex tax returns and working on more complex small business, entrepreneurial client engagements
