Job Description:
The Construction Manager has overall responsibility for at least one major project or potentially several small projects and will lead the project construction teams overseeing the development and adherence to engineered work plans for various phases of roadway, bridge, and structural wall type scope.
This position will also work directly with suppliers and owners for the development of work plans to satisfy specified requirements while optimizing production opportunity for the company.
This position is also responsible for quality assurance management of project design and construction for Design Build transportation infrastructure type projects and will assist Business Development and Estimating Teams with Design Project Coordination as needed.
The position requires the candidate to have a firm understanding of both bottom up and top-down construction and extensive experience with DOT infrastructure construction work.
Experience:
At least 2 highway transportation infrastructure projects involving interchange, roadway and bridge work in excess of $200M.
Experience in Developing Construction engineered work plans: roadway, bridge structure foundations, substructures, various structural wall types
Manage civil/structural engineering and construction projects
Construction estimating of Major Design Build Infrastructure Projects.
Experience with Joint Venture Management a plus.
Experience with DOT Design build coordination. PPP Experience a plus.
Ability to train and manage construction Managers and Engineers.
Experience with Cost tracking and forecasting on Major Infrastructure Construction Projects
Requirements:
15 plus yrs. in civil engineering and construction.
Experience with Major DOT Infrastructure Projects.
Certified GC, P.E. or S.E. license a plus.
