    Job Description
    We are looking for a community manager and resident degen to supercharge our broader community growth efforts.

    We care deeply about building tools for crypto founders as well as their stakeholders - VCs, employees, and the retail investors that participate in the community around their protocol.

    We're trying to build a community around all of those stakeholders that is actionable and valuable.


    You will be given the responsibility of growing, curating, and maintaining Magna's own community - which will serve as a critical lever and distribution channel as we provide launch support for and scale the adoption of emerging projects.

    This will involve developing and executing growth and engagement strategies through our marketing channels to grow a community that is excited about supporting early projects and their tokens.

    What You'll Do

    Grow our stakeholder / retail community from 0 to 100

    Establish and execute a social media strategy to build an active online presence and consistently grow our following

    Execute against key KPIs related to social media engagement, including Twitter following, Discord members


    Collaborate internally with the CEO and BizOps lead to develop docs, iterate on our marketing website, and generate resources and reference material for our community.

    Who You Are

    You are crypto-native

    - you understand the ideals and values that underpin crypto culture, and actively follow industry trends and news. You have a strong existing network within Web3.

    You have experience marketing in Web3

    • You have a good feel for the content, insights, and messaging that appeal to cryptonative users and as well as a solid understanding of the playbook for building community in Web3.
    You are a polished writer and communicator

    - you are both well-spoken and articulate when it comes to formulating opinions and generating content on Twitter, on our blog, and on other platforms.

    You love to own something and run with it

    - you are proactive with setting goals, formulating a plan, and executing against it. While you will have the support of the entire team including our CEO, biz dev, and biz ops leads, we are a mean lean fast-moving machine and expect you to be comfortable operating independently.

    Qualifications

    2+ years experience in a marketing or community manager role, preferably in Web3/crypto

    Experience building online presence through social media (Twitter, Discord, Telegram)

    Experience researching and publishing longform content and blog posts

    (Nice-to-have) Active participant on Crypto Twitter with a meaningful following on your personal profile
