Job Description

As a Security Officer - Evening Foot Patrol in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. You will document observations, communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site contacts, and provide a welcoming customer service presence. What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, property policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a commercial real estate location.

Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter areas; working environments and conditions may vary by site.

Monitor access points and common areas, observe for unusual activity, and help to deter unauthorized entry and/or policy violations; report concerns to site management and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including assisting with alarms, lockouts, disturbances, and medical situations as directed by site procedures.

Complete detailed patrol and incident documentation, including shift activity logs, and communicate key information during shift turnovers and/or to appropriate contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

A Guard Card and/or security-related license is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
