    Requirements

    This role involves regular collaboration with manufacturing, engineering, and fellow QC team members. Having strong interpersonal skills is crucial as this position often guides groups of colleagues from production and QC to ensure timely task completion. Individuals in this position should possess a solid analytical mindset for decision-making and problem-solving, along with a consistent track record of performance and decision-making.

    Desired qualifications for ideal candidates include:

    • · Minimum of three years of experience in weld inspection
    • · Minimum of three years of experience utilizing handheld measuring tools like micrometers, calipers, go/no-go gauges
    • · Minimum of one year of experience working with laser trackers
    • · Proficiency in reading and interpreting intricate drawings
    • · Comprehensive understanding of GD&T
    • · Certification to a Level 2 per SNT-TC-1A in at least two NDT methods among VT, PT, MT, UT
    • · Current CWI certification or eligibility for certification
    • · Proficiency in Microsoft Office software
    • · Openness to acquiring new skills
    • · Ability to work effectively with minimal supervision
    • · Skill in providing constructive criticism and promoting quality enhancements diplomatically
    • · Capability to lead groups of colleagues from production to QC
    • · Excellent attendance record
    • · Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal
    • · Prudent judgment and common sense in ensuring work safety

    Physical Requirements:

    • Must possess manual dexterity and stability necessary for precision tasks
    • Must have visual acuity for close-range details
    • Capable of lifting up to 30 pounds intermittently
    • Ability to navigate facilities and equipment through climbing, balancing, lifting, walking, stooping, and material handling

    · Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory within the premises at all times
