Description

Montana based public accounting firm in business since the 1940's with 7 locations throughout the state is looking to add a Tax Accountant to any branch location.

Branches are located in Bozeman, Great Falls, Hamilton, Helena, Missoula, Kalispell, and Whitefish.

Tax Manager will be technically competent with expert knowledge and experience in one or more specialties as well as a team leader.

Responsibilities:
While maintaining strict confidentiality of information, actively seek complex, specialized accounting projects from other professional staffEstablish additional responsibilities in specific areas of accounting interest, for example, budgets, investments, and information systems to become certified / licensed in those areasDelegate, supervise, and review more complex tax / audit, accounting and other functions to other staff, and take responsibility for quality control issuesUse technical competence and expertise to serve on committees and lead teamsComply with established work hours, scheduling billable time expectationsComplete tax returns under review of a manager or shareholderProvide ways to provide additional services to existing clients while adding value to the customers' experience as possibleQualifications:Bachelor's degree in AccountingLicensed CPA
