# 1.######## *Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values. 2.####### *Performs all types of MRI, MRV and MRA procedures. 3.######## *Practices MRI safety procedures at all times. 4.####### *Optimally demonstrates patient anatomy through proper positioning and selection of technical factors. 5.####### *Performs venipuncture. 6.####### *Uses sterile technique as required. 7.######## *Accesses and administers drugs and biologicals that are pertinent to essential job functions in accordance with Medical Center procedures. 8.####### *Competently operates all MRI equipment and support systems to include HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS, and offsite Radiologist Services. 9.####### *Utilizes department computer systems, and PACS to review patient history and provide accurate documentation of studies. 10.### *Properly cares for and images patients of all ages; maintains patient confidentiality. 11.####
*Coordinates exams within the department and with other departments to provide expedient and complete care; communicates with medical staff, coworkers, patients, families, and other hospital staff to assure quality patient care.
12.### *Handles telephone calls for scheduling, coordination, or questions with courtesy and accuracy. 13.#### *Participates in the department#s quality improvement plan as required. 14.### *Cleans, disinfects and maintains equipment as necessary; notifies coordinator of equipment problems and calls appropriate service vendors as needed. 15.### *Keeps work area properly supplied.#
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Graduate from a school of radiologic technology with current certification or eligibility for certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.# Valid State of Nebraska Medical Radiographer license required.# MRI certification required within 36 months from date of hire.
#OTHER CREDENTIALS / CERTIFICATIONS:
Basic Life Support (CPR) certification required.# #
