Peoplelink Staffing Solutions, in partnership with family-owned provider of metal fabrication services since 1917 in Williamston, SC. They are seeking Forklift Operator to join their team

MUST HAVE QUALITY INSPECTOR EXPERIENCE

2nd shift

M-Th

2:30p-1a

Starting pay is $16.50.

SUMMARY

Performs daily press audits to ensure parts produced conform to customer specifications. Verifies first piece from each new manufacturing order. Assists in die change documentation requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs container audits to ensure quality, labeling, and packing conform to customer required specifications. Places quality approved sticker on approved containers and enters product into inventory.

Creates and prints daily label requirements; ensures accuracy of labels.

Certifies first piece for each new manufacturing order and completes required documentation.

Completes last piece tags for each manufacturing order.

Places all first/last piece parts in designated area.

Performs hourly press audits to ensure quality, packing, and part dimensions conform to customer required specifications.

Removes and disposes of labels from containers not filled with parts at die change-overs.

Labels partial containers with required documentation.

Puts required paperwork in job pack and places in designated area.

Performs inspection on all incoming parts and puts traveler in designated area.

Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENTS/EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

High school degree or equivalent.

Ability to complete necessary paperwork through basic math, reading and writing skills.

Good interpersonal skills; ability to interact with all levels of the organization.

Good computer skills.

Good problem solving skills.

Ability to work with little or no supervision.

Ability to move up to 35 pounds.

Ability to comprehend and complete Statistical Process Control using charts and graph readings.
