Our business group provides Information Technology Services (software development, support, hosting, etc.), CPA services, and other diverse activities.

Operating nationally and internationally, the group has been in existence for over 35 years and continues to expand its operations.

Office locations are situated in Harrisburg, PA, Cedar Park, Texas and Pune India


POSITION SUMMARY :
This position is a result of an internal promotion.

We are seeking to fill the role of Accounting Manager for planning, supervising, reviewing, and completing internal (some external) tax, accounting, and consulting engagements.

The position involves assuring timely financial reporting primarily internally and externally along with developing recommendations for internal and external entities to enhance business operations or wealth accumulation.

The Accounting Manager will be interfacing with staff, executive management, and in-house counsel to:
Develop comprehensive corporate goals
Supervise staff
Provide feedback/mentorship
Evaluating work product

Communications also involve interacting with foreign Chartered Accountants and Company Secretaries as well as coordinating with the internal IT team to improve internal accounting reports.

The position will:
Assure deadlines are met
Overseeing and assuring compliance with continuing education requirements for accounting staff


QUALIFICATIONS :
Has excellent time management and organizational skills
Is detail-oriented
Has excellent computer skills and is familiar with Excel, Accounting and IT applications and systems
Is able to work independently with a limited amount of supervision
Is able to communicate effectively both verbally and written
Is able to recognize opportunities to provide additional services to existing clients
Will take the initiative to establish and ambitiously expand the presence of the firm with the backing and support of management


EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE :
CPA license is a plus
BS or BA degree in Accounting or related field.
5+ years of experience with accounting, tax, and consulting engagements
May have international or large regional public experience
