    Travel Nurse RN Long Term Acute Care Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to provide specialized care for patients with complex medical conditions in our Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) unit.

    About the Role:

    This is a travel nursing job opportunity in Warm Springs, Georgia. As a Registered Nurse (RN) in LTAC, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to manage patient care, monitor vital signs, administer treatments, and provide ongoing support to patients and families.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional conditions upon admission, during care, and on an ongoing basis.
    • Regularly monitor patients' vital signs, including blood pressure, heart rate, oxygen saturation, and respiratory rate.
    • Identify and promptly report any changes in a patient's condition to the healthcare team.
    • Develop, implement, and revise individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
    • Assist with procedures such as wound care, catheter insertion, tracheostomy care, and tube feedings.

    Requirements:

    • Strong clinical skills and ability to manage complex patient needs.
    • Compassionate approach to care and excellent communication skills.
    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Estimated Salary:

    $150,000 per year, based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week.
