    Sr. Director of SEO

    EverCommerce Solutions Inc. is a leading service commerce platform that provides vertically tailored, integrated SaaS solutions to help more than 600,000 global service-based businesses accelerate growth, streamline operations, and increase retention.

    We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior SEO Director to lead our Socius Marketing & Everconnect Products teams. This person will serve as a senior SEO expert, providing subject matter expertise, client leadership, business development, and increased visibility into SEO needs and value across the agency.

    This is a leadership position within the SEO team. The successful candidate will manage other SEO and Content managers, ensuring deliverables exceed requirements and contributes to achieving the strategic vision of the agency.

    The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years in the development/implementation of SEO strategies and 5+ years in a team leadership role. They will have proven experience in technical SEO, enterprise content strategy, and competitive analysis, as well as expertise in local SEO content planning, optimization tactics, and reporting.

    The Senior Director of SEO will be responsible for developing and leading ongoing trainings for internal teams, working with the Product department to improve and enhance our services, and helping drive all department initiatives and OKRs.

    This role can be based anywhere in the United States and requires the ability to work with a widely distributed team across different time zones. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position.

    Responsibilities:

    • Works on complex client and operational projects that drive increased margin and efficiency.
    • Collaborates with other media channels to provide holistic strategies and holds ultimate accountability for the quality of all SEO deliverables.
    • Manages performance and career development; identifies/leverages staff talent, rewards innovation, provides feedback and coaching.
    • Maintains expertise in AI integration, specifically GPT-4, into SEO strategies and leads the integration process.
    • Provides expertise in local SEO strategies and opportunities, as well as CRO testing, UX design implementation, and website launches.

    Compensation:

    The target base compensation for this position is $90,000 to $140,000 USD per year in most US locations.
