    Lilly is designing and building a Next Generation Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility in Limerick, Ireland. This is an exciting opportunity to help build and operate a state-of-the-art manufacturing site from the ground up.

    Our new Limerick facility will be one of Lilly's most technically advanced manufacturing sites and will include next-gen manufacturing technologies, and advanced data collection and analysis platforms that will result in safety and quality improvements, increased productivity, and variability reduction.


    What You'll Be Doing:


    As the IT Project Leader for our Digital Native Manufacturing facility, your main focus will be on driving the implementation of cutting-edge technologies.

    You'll lead the introduction of advanced tools like MES, SAP EWM, real-time monitoring, and advanced scheduling across manufacturing, laboratory, and supply chain applications.

    Your strategic planning and project execution will optimize processes, heighten efficiency, and seamlessly integrate these innovative solutions.

    Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be key as you oversee project management, set up digital capabilities such as real-time monitoring, location tracking, and advanced scheduling, while providing visionary leadership to empower your team.


    How You'll Succeed:


    Successfully implement cutting-edge solutions like MES, SAP EWM, real-time monitoring, and advanced scheduling to enhance manufacturing, laboratory, and supply chain operations.

    Skillfully lead and manage IT projects from planning to execution, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery of solutions.
    Foster effective collaboration with cross-functional teams, internal stakeholders, external vendors, and partners for seamless integration of IT systems.
    Provide strong leadership to your IT team, offering guidance, mentorship, and a collaborative environment to achieve project goals.
    Ensure all implemented IT solutions meet industry regulations, data integrity requirements, and internal quality standards.
    Demonstrate exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimize processes effectively.
    Thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.
    Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders for effective communication and collaboration.
    Measure success through the successful integration of technologies, increased operational efficiency, and improved manufacturing outcomes.

    Educational Requirements:
    Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. (Level 8)

    Additional Requirements:


    Minimum of 7+ years of experience in delivering successful IT solutions in manufacturing, laboratory, or supply chain environments, in a biotech or pharmaceutical setting.

    Proven experience in IT project management, especially in leading complex projects and teams.
    Previous experience in implementing cutting-edge technologies like MES, SAP EWM, real-time monitoring, and advanced scheduling.
