    Description

    Quoretech is looking for an experienced professional to take over the role of a Product Development Manager, leading the development of an end-to-end solution for arrhythmia diagnosis, who can work in a MedTech startup environment.

    This individual must show experience in developing mission-critical and highly available hardware and software applications and demonstrate deep knowledge in IoT, wireless and telemetry, cloud microservices, artificial intelligence, and business process management. It's desirable to have a solid understanding of patient and cardiologists' demands and trends for cardiac monitoring to allow the conception of a bright vision for what is to be built. Business savvy is essential for this position since he or she is the decision maker regarding what features the product will have.

    Leadership is a large part of the responsibilities. The product manager role requires working closely with key stakeholders throughout the organization and beyond, so he or she must be able to communicate different messages to different people about the project at any given time.

    Finally, this role also requires an individual with specific skills and traits to commit to doing whatever is necessary to build the best product possible.

    Responsibilities

  • Direct the development of new concepts from initial design to market release.
  • Oversee the investigation and evaluation of new technologies.
  • Define clear objectives, evaluate progress against targets, and instill performance-oriented culture with a focus on accountability.
  • Define project specifications, resource estimates, and scheduling.
  • Manage feasibility studies of the design to determine if it is capable of functioning as intended.
  • Manage the long-term roadmap involving sales, marketing, implementations, clients, prospects, partners, and other groups.
  • Actively participate in operations strategic planning to assure alignment with strategic business direction and review the voice of the customer data
  • Assure the integration of Design for Reliability and Manufacturability into engineering projects through coaching, training, and practice.
  • Partner with research and technology to ensure technologies are capable before transfer to development.
  • Ensure functional standards and procedures are followed
  • Support the development and implementation of quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards about materials, techniques, or company products.
  • Guide the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes, or products.
  • Monitor documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
  • Organize the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
  • Select, develop and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
  • Track the overall market and competitive dynamics.
  • Document story details based on the epics after reviewing with development.
  • Lead scrum meetings.
  • Motivate the team with a clear, elevating goal

    Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Product Development, Electronic Engineering or Computer Science
  • Minimum five years experience in complex product development.
  • Strong desire to help people and improve their daily lives.
  • Experience and working knowledge of FDA regulations/ISO standards for medical solutions.
  • Agile environment, including exposure to Scrum.
  • Experience in programming, Cloud Based Applications, Software Architecture, Testing and Quality Assurance, Continuous Integration/Delivery/Deployment and Scrum
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
