Seeking Mental Health Therapist to provide services for children, adolescents, and their families at Morrison's Gresham location.

Morrison Child and Family Services is a non-profit organization providing culturally responsive, anti-oppressive mental health and substance use disorder treatment, support, and prevention services to children, youth, and families who are working through the effects of systemic racism, trauma, poverty, abuse, neglect, or other mental health needs. As one of the largest mental health and substance use recovery services serving 7,000 youth in Portland, Oregon and the state of Washington, our goal is to promote a vibrant culture of self-care, creativity, and overall resilience that contribute to the success of our youth and families.

    Program: Outpatient Services
Morrison Child and Family Services delivers outpatient mental health services to children, ages 2 through 18. At the core of our work is a belief in the importance of acknowledging strengths and creating resilience in each child. Our skilled therapists collaborate with each child and their support system to identify a treatment approach that addresses the child's mental health symptoms and leads to improved functioning in all areas of the child's life. We strive to provide culturally responsive services and respect the values and unique perspectives of all our clients.

The Mental Health Therapist provides outpatient mental health treatment services for children, adolescents, and their families, in a clinic setting. These services include assessments, treatment planning, individual, family, and group therapy (optional). Therapists work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and represent the organization and its values. Clients receiving clinic-based services may also have access to skills training, case management, and medication management. Our Clinic-Based therapists carry a caseload of 40-55 clients who are seen in-person or via telehealth (virtually) at a frequency that is based on the client's level of need (i.e. level of care).

Our therapists are trained and supported to provide trauma-informed and culturally responsive care to our clients. Additionally, each therapist is provided an annual training budget that can be used toward outside trainings, licensing/registration fees, or licensure testing fees.

In-house Licensure supervision toward LCSW, LPC and LMFT is provided
