    Baptist Health Corbin has received the American College of Cardiologys NCDR Chest Pain MI Registry Platinum Performance Achievement Award for 2023.

    We are seeking a BC/BE interventional cardiologist to join our team at Baptist Health Medical Group Cardiology in Corbin, Kentucky. This is an immediate need for a full/part-time or PRN position.

    • We have a practice with one physician and a supportive staff of one APRN, four medical assistants, and additional support staff.
    • Our office hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM and Friday from 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM.
    • We offer comprehensive cardiology services for heart patients through our experienced staff.
    • The call schedule is 1:5.

    Our services include:

    • We provide diagnostic, coronary intervention, STEMI program, and peripheral vascular program services.
    • We offer non-invasive cardiology services such as EKG, Holter monitors, echocardiogram, and stress tests with an accredited echocardiogram lab.
    • We also offer radiology services including nuclear studies and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
    • We have two cardiac catheterization labs available.
    • We perform electrophysiology studies.
    • We offer a cardiac rehabilitation program.
    • We specialize in device implantation, including new devices such as bi-ventricular pacemakers and bi-ventricular implantable cardiodefibrillators (ICDs).

    Job Requirements

    • Board certification or eligibility in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease.
    • BC/BE status in interventional cardiology.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Estimated Salary Range:

    $300,000 - $450,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
