Position Summary
The morning show host at
KVNO hosts a live classical music program on
KVNO Monday - Friday from 6 to 10 a.m.
The host is responsible for conducting prep (starting at 5 a.m.) for the program relative to programmed music, benchmarks, features, and other events that happen on-air for the morning show.
The host announces on-air and is responsible for weaving together all the elements of the program to create an engaging and high-quality program.
The morning show host also participates in staff and promotion meetings, station fund drives,
KVNO events and marketing efforts and serves as a representative of
KVNO in the community.

Required and Preferred Qualifications
Required Education
Highly skilled in radio or related creative field.
Required Experience
Three year's experience on-air at a classical music station and experience communicating to audiences in person and via social media.
