Are you a looking for an opportunity to travel 100% for work installing and assembling machine vision equipment? Are you comfortable client facing and training small maintenance teams? If so, Prolink wants you to join our team

Pay: $28-$29/hr (W/Per Diem)

Shift: 1st (*hours can vary depending on Project/Travel needs.)

Role Responsibilities

Conduct equipment installation (electrical and computer), vendor trials, start-up, and commissioning activities for machine vision equipment, primarily in the logistics industry.

Test and troubleshoot equipment to identify and eliminate problems.

-Investigate performance issues, determine root cause, and develop permanent countermeasures

-Provide training to onsite maintenance on specification and operation of new equipment

-Check drawings provided by mechanical and electrical designers for accuracy and provide feedback for corrections as needed.

-Traveling to customers' business.

Role Requirements:

-Minimum 3 years experience in technical field, with emphasis on mechanical application.

-2 years technical degree, technical certifications, or military/technician experience equivalent.

-Ability to travel up to 100% (based on scheduled projects) within the United States and Canada, while meeting site vaccination requirements.

-Electrical knowledge: able to read wiring diagrams, test/troubleshoot electrical wiring, and solder electrical connections

-Ability to read mechanical drawings

-Self-motivated and goal-oriented

-Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills

-Ability to work in a (sometimes) physically-demanding environment

-Able to learn new tasks quickly and sometimes on-the-job

-Understanding of PC configuration and installation

Experience in these areas are helpful:

-Installation work

-Wiring

-Running Cables

-Conveyor Systems: Installing, repairing, troubleshooting, replacing.

-Experience with Vision equipment/Cameras/Scanners
