    Description

    ESSENTIAL FUNCTION:

    From verbal or written instructions including operator sheets, blueprints, specification sheets, routing sheets, and any other production forms required by management, performs a variety of duties which include but are not limited to the following; measure and cut chain, operate benders, presses, cutting machines, and manual or automated traction lines, assembly of many different types of chains and chain accessories, operates reelers, transfers products, welds components, performs packaging operations, and works with the JDE/RFS computer system. May be required to perform general clean-up as assigned. GPW's are expected to be cross-trained and proficient on the variety of tasks within the department.

    All employees are required to:

    • Rely on a lead to set up and adjust equipment
    • Abide by safety policies, operator preventative maintenance and housekeeping practices.
    • Ensure the quality specifications of the product.
    • Accurately complete process and quality documentation.
    • Communicate respectfully with others.
    • Work with limited supervision.
