Job summary
Plan and coordinate transportation routes to maximize efficiency and minimize delivery times. Assign drivers and vehicles to routes based on factors such as delivery schedules customer locations and vehicle capacity Dispatch drivers and monitor their progress to ensure on time deliveries and adherence to schedules Manage a fleet of vehicles including trucks vans or delivery vehicles ensuring they are properly maintained serviced and inspected Schedule routine maintenance repairs for vehicles to minimize downtime.Schedule routine maintenance repairs for vehicles to minimize downtime.
