    Position Overview:
    As the Vice President of Portfolio Risk Management, you'll lead a team responsible for
    overseeing and optimizing the risk management strategies of Ouro's consumer payment
    products and services. Your role will involve developing and executing risk mitigation strategies,
    ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leveraging analytics to enhance portfolio
    performance.

    Key Responsibilities :

    Risk Strategy Development:
    Develop comprehensive risk management strategies for Ouro's global payment
    portfolios to achieve optimal risk-adjusted returns.

    Identify emerging risks and opportunities within the portfolios and devise proactive strategies to address them.


    Portfolio Analytics and Optimization:
    Use advanced analytics and modeling techniques to assess portfolio performance, identify key risk drivers, and optimize risk-return profiles.

    Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement portfolio optimization


    Credit Policy and Underwriting Standards:


    Lead the development and refinement of credit policies, underwriting, pricing, authorization strategies, and risk assessment methodologies that balance risk management and customer experience.

    Ensure that risk management decisions are consistent with risk appetite
    guidelines, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.


    Fraud Risk Management:
    Oversee the design and implementation of robust fraud prevention and detection strategies to safeguard debit and credit payment channels.

    Partner with fraud management teams to enhance fraud analytics capabilities, monitor fraud trends, and mitigate potential losses.


    Regulatory Compliance and Governance:


    Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Regulation Z, Regulation E, PCI DSS, and other relevant regulations governing debit and credit payment operations.

    Establish and maintain effective risk governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to mitigate regulatory and operational risks.


    Stakeholder Engagement and Communication:
    Collaborate with senior management, business leaders, and regulatory stakeholders to communicate risk insights, portfolio performance metrics, and strategic recommendations.

    Present risk management initiatives and outcomes to executive leadership and board committees, providing transparency and accountability.


    Qualifications:


    Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in portfolio risk management, with a focus on debit and credit payment products within the financial services industry.

    Strong understanding of consumer risk management principles, portfolio analytics, and regulatory compliance requirements applicable to payment card operations.

    Proven leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve strategic objectives in a dynamic environment.


    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization and build collaborative relationships.

    Bachelor's degree. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CFA) preferred.
