- Our Pulmonary Critical Care team consists of 5 Physicians, 2 Advance Practitioners in the outpatient clinic, and 4 Advance Practitioners inpatient care at St. Luke's Hospital.
- We are expanding to provide additional coverage to care for our Pulmonary admitted patients, and consults.
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- .6 FTE Weekend package - 7AM-7PM Saturday and Sunday
- Inpatient Hospital coverage at St. Luke's Cedar Rapids; Admissions and Consults, ICU and general medical floor
- Physician backup available
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
- Prior ICU, Critical Care, and/or Pulmonology experience preferred; either as advance practitioner and/or nurse
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Board Certified
- 2+ years of experience preferred
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States
