    Position Summary:
    First line leader who manages a diverse team of quality inspectors under AS9100/9120 standards. Provides guidance and coaching to team members on the Quality Management System. Holds themselves, their team, and their peers to the highest standards. Leads on safety, quality, and integrity. Fosters a just culture grounded in humility, inclusion, and transparency. Imports best leadership practices.

    Acquires and manages resources for the team and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.


    Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
    Develops, administers and maintains quality assurance procedures and activities required to ensure that the company's products are following quality standards
    Lead/coach Process Improvement teams across Functions
    Execute quality department budget and manages expenses to approved budget
    Performs other duties as assigned

    Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience)
    6-8 years of related work experience
    4-6 of supervisory experience
    Equivalent combination of formal education, on-the-job training, and/or work experience
    Strong analytical, organizational, and troubleshooting skills
    In-depth knowledge of drawings, MIL-Standards, and customer requirements
    Knowledgeable of AS9100/9120 Standards
    Proficient computer skills and thorough knowledge of MS Office programs (Excel, Word, etc.)
    Detail-oriented, efficient, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
    Proficient communication skills in regards, to performance, coaching, disciplinary
    FAA, CAA, EASA Experience

    Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience)

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree – Engineering, Engineering Management, Industrial Engineering or related field of study
    8-10 years of related work experience
    6-8 years of supervisory experience
    Experience in Aerospace Quality Assurance and Inspection
    Knowledgeable of Aviation Regulatory Compliance

    Relocation
    Relocation assistance is not negotiable benefit for this position. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at own their expense.


    Travel:
    This position requires traveling up to 15% of the time.
