Overview

ABM, a leading provider of integrated facility solutions, is looking for a Stadium Floor Technician to complete assigned cleaning and maintenance of carpet and hard surface floors as well as floor care machine preventive maintenance.

Part Time based on events; including weekends.


Starting at $18/hour Location:
Downtown Phoenix

Basic Qualifications:

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Must meet all requirements to receive approval for working in specific ATS environments (if applicable), including ten-year work history if available
• No experience required and on the job training provided
• No high school diploma, GED or college degree required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Customer service experience
• 1 year of similar work experience

Floor Tech Responsibilities

• Scrubber operator
• Carpet extraction
• Burnishing
• Buffing
• Strip & Wax floors
• Backpack blowing seating bowl
• Pressure washing
• Measuring chemicals correctly. Operating chemical dispensing units.
• Labeling chemicals correctly.
• Cleaning, maintaining, and storing equipment and PPE proficiently.
• Keeping an inventory of floor areas, and scheduling cleaning and maintenance duties.
• Reporting maintenance issues to supervisor.
• Assisting with the hazardous waste collection as requested by the supervisor.

Floor Tech Requirements:

• Undeterred by exposure to hazardous chemicals, bodily fluids, and communicable and infectious diseases.
• Resilient to noise.
• Physically agile.
• Excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Customer Service Experience
• 1 yr of similar work experience

A good job for someone just entering the workforce or returning to the workforce with limited experience and education.
