- Receive and deliver all food items and kitchen equipment todesignatedareas for banquet functions promptly and safely, even under pressure.
- Keep and organize banquet event orders to ensure smooth execution of events.
- Read and understand interdepartmental transfer requisitions.
- Follow correct inventory control and receiving procedures.
- Communicate effectively and follow the direction of the Convention Services Team, Room Chefs, and Executive Chef to ensure seamless coordination.
- Perform any other job-related duties asrequired, alwaysmaintaininga professional and proactive approach.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen equipment as well asproficiencyin operating manual and electric pallet jacks/riders, motorized carts, and delivery box trucks
- Prior inventoryand/or warehouseexperienceis a plus.
- Knowledge of computer programs: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, AS400, Stratton Warren System, Coupa, Amadeus.
- Abilityto work in a fast-paced environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent;previousexperience in a similar role preferred.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Mustpossessthe ability to access all areas of theproperty,withstand prolonged standing, stretching, bending, kneeling, lifting, and carrying items weighing up to 50lbs.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
- Proficiencyin basic computer applications.
