    Job Summary:

    This role is an integral part of the finance and accounting function in Kalamazoo. The associate is responsible for the day-to-day Accounts Payable processing. The primary role includes timely processing of invoices and reconciling accounts to maintain accurate financial reporting and ensuring good vendor public relations.

    Essential Job Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and review supplier invoices within the corporate ERP AP automation system. Match to supporting documentation to ensure appropriate coding and posting to the accounting system (M3 Infor)
    2. Prepare and process outgoing payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures via check, ACH/EFT, etc. on a weekly basis.
    3. Research, track, and resolve expense and payment variances/discrepancies in a timely manner
    4. Maintain vendor information within accounting database
    5. Maintain W9 information of vendors
    6. Establish and maintain vendor relationships, including management of supplier inquiries and follow-up
    7. Assist with month-end and year-end processes as needed.
    8. Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
    Education/Experience:

    Required:
    • 2+ years experience in Accounts Payable (AP).
    • Thorough understanding of Accounts Payable (AP) processes, controls, and best practices
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office with emphasis in Word and Excel
    • Demonstrated ability to work both within team and as an individual contributor
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize and multi-task workload
    Desired:
    • Degree in accounting
    • Previous manufacturing experience
    • Experience with Infor's M3 ERP
    Equipment Operation:
    • Computer, copier, scanner, printer
    Physical Requirements:
    • Minimal lifting of less than 50 pounds
    • Office environment - sitting for long periods working on a computer.
