Prepare, match and verify shipping information and manifest accurately.
Acquire estimate freight rates from carriers when applicable.
Adhere to customer shipping guidelines and the preparation of shipping information and manifest.
Assist with improving Quality of shipments.
Print labels, bar codes or stickers as required for order process.
Assist to maintain Inventory Control.
Responsible for maintaining integrity in the use of company assets such as inventory, supplies, equipment.
Prepare shipments using UPS/FedEx software
Maintain the receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing Company policies and procedures related to both incoming and outgoing shipments.
Monitor the receiving process by verifying all deliveries, reconciling shipping invoices, and organizing or distributing incoming deliveries.
Manage vendor relationships with Fed Ex, freight or other logistics companies to ensure we are quoting competitive yet quality services.
Obtain and submit quotes to both internal and external clients for a variety of projects including but not limited to shipping, kitting and fulfillment
Control and maintain accurate inventory levels by conducting physical counts and utilize Fishbowl or appropriate tool for entering information.
Select space and prepare stock for storage, and place materials in designated areas. Maximizes warehouse space by maintaining an efficient storage layout and frequent rotation of product.
Prepare order for delivery, disburse stock, and assist in the maintenance of records.
Responsible for the selection of specific products in specific quantities to be prepared for shipment to events. Requires strong attention to detail to ensure proper items and quantities are selected and placed according to program plan and specifics.
Ensure proper customer contact relating to their requirements, i.e., requests, inventories, deliveries, order patterns and concerns with regard to such. Assists in managing the internal requirements of Customer Service with respect to materials, information systems and necessary reporting needed to meet customer expectations.
Facilitate and maintain strong channels of communication with customer service, scheduling, production and purchasing and facilitate any necessary follow-up to ensure smooth movement of goods.
Accurately submit daily billing to Management.
Operate a forklift, and other equipment in order to unload trucks, and move and store materials and supplies.
Check picked orders for accuracy of lot numbers, quantities and document completion
Accurately pick customer orders according to product code, lot number, and quantity requested and move completed orders to packing lines. Report any discrepancies and/or damages to Supervisor. No substitutions of product or lot number are permitted without authorization.
Perform inventory cycle counts as required by Inventory Control.
Loading and unloading as assigned.

Competencies and Skills Requirements:

Master Fishbowl Inventory software within 30 days of start date.
Able to work independently under minimum supervision.
Microsoft office suite Word, Outlook and Excel a must.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Able to handle a dynamic work load.
Independent and dependable transportation to and from work.
Must be able to operate forklift
