Customer Service Representative Job at Nursery Supplies, Inc.

Job Summary:

The Customer Service Representative will be responsible for overseeing sales order activities within a specific territory. They will manage orders by entering, picking, and scheduling trucks to ensure timely delivery to customers and maintain strong customer relationships. This role reports to the Customer Service Manager and collaborates with the Regional Sales Manager to fulfill orders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Record, edit, and enter new orders received via various channels
- Communicate with customers regarding order acknowledgment, changes, and status
- Maintain customer sales data and relationships
- Resolve customer inquiries and disputes promptly
- Perform other assigned duties

Basic Qualifications:
- Five plus years of customer service experience
- Highly organized and detail-oriented
- Proficient in Microsoft Office or related software
- Strong communication skills

Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with an ERP system like JD Edwards
- Desire to learn and adapt to new processes

Education and Experience:
- Bachelors Degree preferred

Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
