- Perform operational, financial, and compliance audits of all AMIkids Programs and Home Office,
- Complete audit procedures including review of records, evaluation of internal controls, assessment of compliance with policies, procedures, and various grant requirements,
- Visit program locations and complete onsite audit testing,
- Formulate audit findings and recommendations for improvement and present to management,
- Prepare audit work papers and audit reports in a timely manner,
- Complete follow-up on the audit recommendations and corrective action plans,
- Provide input for the annual audit risk assessment,
- Assist external auditors in completion of the various audit testing procedures,
- Complete departmental administrative tasks according to established schedules,
- May travel for work related duties,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field,
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), or other related professional designation preferred,
- Experience in Internal Audit or Compliance preferred,
- Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook),
- Effective written, verbal and presentation skills,
- Ability to work independently and meet established deadlines,
- Familiarity with data-mining software, e.g.
