First Call Professional is seeking to fill a role for a manufacturing client located in Rushville.

This role is responsible for designing casting/gating systems using CATIA software, optimizing them through flow and solidification analysis, and coordinating production of high-quality castings. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design casting/gating systems for castings using CATIA V5 software.
• Perform flow and solidification analysis using NOVACAST to optimize gating efficiency.
• Coordinate new product sample schedules between internal departments (tooling, sales, QA, production) and external suppliers to meet customer deadlines.
• Evaluate sample castings and implement solutions to address casting defects.
• Train and guide team members on proper measurement techniques and corrective actions for casting issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field (strongly preferred).
• 5-7 years of experience in tooling design and development.
• Proficiency in CATIA V5 software.
• Proven ability to use Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in the automotive OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) environment.
• Experience using NOVACAST software for flow and solidification analysis.
