    Physicians Rehab Solution , a national organization, is seeking a

    Vice President of Revenue Cycle , specializing in full cycle revenue cycle services for Physical and Occupational Therapy clinics.

    The Vice President of Revenue Cycle specializing in Billing, Coding, and Accounts Receivable Management for Physical and Occupational Therapy Services will lead the operational aspects related to revenue cycle management within a healthcare organization.


    This role requires strategic planning, oversight of billing and coding processes, supervision of Director(s), Billing Specialist, A/R Specialist, and optimization of accounts receivable functions to maximize financial performance and compliance.

    Office based in Bowling Green, KY.


    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, finance, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
    • Extensive experience (typically 7-10 years) in healthcare operations management, with a focus on billing, coding, and accounts receivable management, specifically in the field of physical and occupational therapy.
    • Proven leadership skills with experience in managing teams and driving organizational change.
    • In-depth knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, coding guidelines, and reimbursement methodologies, including Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payers.
    • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, billing software platforms, and revenue cycle management tools.
    • Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, identify trends, and implement strategies for revenue optimization and process improvement.
    • Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., clinicians, billing staff, executives) and external partners (e.g., insurance companies, regulatory agencies).
    • Demonstrated understanding of healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA, Stark Law, and Anti-Kickback Statute, and ability to ensure adherence within the organization.

    Job Duties:

    • Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance revenue cycle performance, streamline billing processes, and improve cash flow for therapy services.
    • Oversee the billing, coding, and accounts receivable departments, providing leadership, guidance, and support to staff members.
    • Collaborate with executive leadership to establish financial goals, performance metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) related to revenue cycle management.
    • Monitor billing and collections metrics, analyze revenue trends, and identify areas of opportunity or risk for the organization.
    • Ensure compliance with billing regulations and coding guidelines, conducting regular audits and assessments to mitigate compliance risks.
    • Lead efforts to optimize reimbursement rates, negotiate contracts with payers, and address denials or claim disputes.
    • Implement technology solutions and process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in billing operations.
    • Provide training and education to staff members on billing, coding, and accounts receivable best practices, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.
    • Building and fostering relationships internally and externally with team members, partners, and third-party vendors.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Knowledge and understanding of all clinic policies/procedures, culture, and organizational structure.

    Knowledge and regulations related to Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial insurance.
