A hospital with a NICU level II is seeking an OB/GYN for locum tenens coverage.

The shifts are 24s and 12s with CNM nights and weekends. Hospitalists will provide GYN coverage in emergency GYN cases. Hospitalists are needed for first assistance. First assistance is available to hospitalists. Hospitalists will provide backup to midwives. OB/GYN ED call will provide backup to the hospitalists. The annual average of total hospital deliveries is 1800. The annual estimated delivery for hospitalists is 744. The annual estimated patient encounters for hospitalists (not including deliveries) is 3595. There are 4/5 MFM onsite with courtesy privs. There are no residency programs. There is 24/7 in-house anesthesia.
