    Director of Middle School Instruction/Testing


    At Coffee County Schools, we are seeking a highly qualified individual to serve as our Director of Middle School Instruction/Testing. This role is responsible for coordinating the instructional program in middle schools and ensuring that all teachers have the support they need to deliver high-quality instruction.



    Key Responsibilities:

    • Keep informed of curricular changes and assist in planning and implementing such changes.

    • Coordinate textbook adoption process and order textbooks annually.

    • Distribute textbooks and ancillary materials annually.


    • Observe classroom teachers as requested by principals,

      • /li Attend state meetings for updates in testing and share information with system staff, -Hold system meetings with building testing coordinators to plan administration of state standardized testing- 
    This position requires a valid Tennessee teacher's license in any secondary endorsement area, a valid Tennessee administrator's license, an advanced degree with a major in Curriculum/Instruction or Instructional Leadership, and at least five years teaching experience.-Additional responsibilities include assisting with development formative assessment tests analyzing data at school- district level meeting-with-principals-to-discuss-testing-data-examining-documenting-evidence-of-Highly-Qualified-status-updating-HQ-status-and-administering-computer-based-parapro-testing-as-needed.
