    Actively hiring " Certified Nursing Assistant " for hospital based in Hackensack NJ pay rate is $32-$35/hr.

    Title: Certified Nursing Assistant

    Department: PMC-Floats

    Location: North Bergen NJ 07047

    Schedule Notes: 10:45 PM - 7:15 AM. Every Other weekend. Holidays Required.

    Contract duration: 13-week contract (Possibly to extend)

    Job Details

    Must have at least 1 year of experience working in an Acute setting.

    CNA Float Pool- Must be willing to act as a sitter as needed and float to other units as needed.

    Must not have alternative jobs that would interfere with HMH schedule being a priority.

    Department (ex. ICU, M/S, Tele, etc.): med surg, ICU, tele

    -Takes vital signs under the direction of the RN, and documents accordingly, and notifies the RN of the results.
    -Performs and documents glucose finger sticks and collects other specimens including stool, urine, and sputum.
    -Obtains and documents daily patient weights and observes and documents patient's intake and output.

    Education:

    High school diploma or equivalent.

    Certification

    -Certified Nursing and/or nursing student enrolled in a BSN program who has successfully completed theoretical and clinical practical in fundamentals of nursing in nursing school.
    -Maintain current BLS/CPR certification from the American Heart Association.
