You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, contribute to treatment plans, administer medications, monitor patient progress, and deliver high-quality care.

Day in the life of a Behavioral Health Registered Nurse (RN):

As an RN at TrustPoint, your day-to-day will consist of: interacting with patients and their families, treatment planning, completing shift reports, rounding/monitoring in the milieu, medication administration, checking in with BHAs, following up on incidents, completing nursing assessments and ensuring regulatory compliance, etc.

Adult Thought & Mood Disorders, Child, Adolescent, Geriatric, Rehab Outpatient, Rehab, Physical Rehab & Medicine, ECT, PHP and more

Population:
Adolescents and Adults (18+)

During my time at TrustPoint, I have been able to expand my nursing knowledge greatly I have worked every unit which has allowed me to see patients of all ages and with different diagnoses and challenges.

As I went back to obtain my RN degree, I knew that working in this facility would allow me to see my curriculum come alive in real patients.

It helped me to better understand how different diseases and disorders can affect people differently and what that physically looks like.

Must possess a current Registered Nurse (RN) license as required by Tennessee or be eligible to practice nursing in accordance with state requirements
One year of nursing experience; previous psychiatric, mental, behavioral, or substance abuse nursing experience a plus
CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required (training available upon hire and offered by facility).
First aid may be required based on state or facility requirements.
