he United States Coast Guard (USCG), Office of Acquisitions, National Security Cutter (NSC) Program Management Office (PMO) (COMDT (CG
is in the later stage of the acquisition lifecycle as a fully mature program. The USCG NSC Program is dynamic and requires flexibility and innovation.
C
onstant oversight and creativity are
required
to ensure that the systems onboard
NSCs
continue to remain effective and
optimal
to the fleet, meet sponsor requirements, and
address
increasing levels of system and equipment obsolescence, while still
maintaining
prescribed cost, schedule, and performance parameters.
The scope of
this requirement
includes
contractor program management, test and evaluation, engineering, financial,
logistics
, configuration management, post-delivery, and documentation support services
.
Education and Experience:
MS/MA in applicable field or BS/BA in applicable field plus 4 years of
additional
experience
10+ years of related experience
Essential Duties:
R
eview, update, organize, and maintain USCG NSC PMO financial execution tracking, reporting, and support documentation including, but not limited to, financial documentation checklists, templates, and guidance, Obligation Execution Team (OET) financial package required documents, acquisition-related training certificates, status and milestone tracking matrixes, correspondence and memorandums, final obligation/award documents, and meeting minutes and action items.
rganize, update, and maintain USCG NSC PMO financial execution documentation within the USCG NSC PMO Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) SharePoint site.
ormat applicable documents
in accordance with
the USCG Correspondence Manual
.
P
rovide
analysis to advise USCG NSC PMO senior management
on all aspects of assigned projects
,
provide
metrics analysis/data
mining
C
ommunicate and
participate
in IPTs and working groups with USN entities, other Government agencies, and their contractors in support of the USCG NSC PMO.
ssist assigned USCG NSC PMO TPOCs/CORs with research and validation reporting and
initiating
follow-on actions with other Government agencies and USCG Program Offices (e.g., Resource Management Office (CG-928), Contracting Office (CG-912), etc.)
Knowledge,
Skill
and Abilities:
Experience and knowledge
with
USCG MSAM and DHS Acquisition Directive
or DoD 5000 series as applicable
Experience supporting USCG PMO operations is
desired
